Florfenicol is an injectable, long-acting antibiotic with action on a wide variety of Gram (+) and Gram (-), aerobic and anaerobic bacteria isolated from cattle and pigs.

Each 1 mL of product contains:
Florfenicol ………………… 300 mg
Excipients q.s.c……………..1 mL

In cattle, it is indicated in bovine respiratory disease, in which susceptible strains of Pasteurella haemolitica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, Actinomyces pyogenes are associated. Its therapeutic action is also recommended in infectious keratoconjunctivitis caused by Moraxella bovis.
In pigs, its use is related to respiratory disease. The strains causing the syndrome described as sensitive are Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Salmonella choleraesuis, Mycoplasma hyorhinus, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Streptococcus suis.

• Cattle: 6.7 mL/100 Kg of weight (equivalent to 20 mg Florfenicol/Kg of weight). Intramuscular route.
• Pigs: 0.5 mL/10 kg body weight (equivalent to 15 mg Florfenicol/kg body weight). Intramuscular route.
  Repeat a second dose 48 h after initiation of treatment.

• Do not administer in animals with hypersensitivity to Chloramphenicol or Florfenicol.
• Do not administer in cattle destined for encaste.
• Do not administer in sows destined to breeding.
• Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.
• Do not administer to breeding animals.

In cattle, a temporary drop in feed and water consumption may occur at the beginning of therapy.
In pigs, a transient perianal inflammation may occur at the beginning of treatment.

In case of contact with skin, eyes or mucous membranes, wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of irritation, go to a medical center and show the internal leaflet of the product. In case of accidental injection, go immediately to a medical center and show internal product leaflet.

Cattle: 38 days (meat)
Swine: 15 days
Do not use for human consumption in nursing calves.
Do not use in females whose milk is intended for human consumption.

Do not use in animals intended for reproduction, or in pregnant or lactating females.

Dispose of waste of this product with caution along with household waste. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.

Store at room temperature below 25°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Use immediately once opened and discard any excess product.

For Peru: Store in a cool and dry place, at room temperature between 15 and 30 °C, protected from light.
