Each 100 mL of solution for injection contains:
Ascorbic acid……………………. 30 g
(as Ascorbate)
Excipients c.s.p……………….. 100 mL

Indicated as a nutritional supplement of Vitamin C in deficiency states due to the intake of a low-content diet; as well as in animals subjected to stress due to transport, participation in exhibitions or competitions, convalescing due to illness or undergoing surgery.

Intramuscular or intravenous.

• Adult: 10 to 15 mL (equivalent to 3,000 to 4,500 mg) per animal, every 24 hours, for 7 days.
• Foals: 5 mL (equivalent to 1,500 mg) per animal, every 24 hours, for 7 days.

• Do not administer vitamin C to animals that are hypersensitive.
• Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.

Irritation at the injection site may occur after intramuscular administration.

• High doses can increase renal excretion of drugs such as quinidine and reduce the effectiveness of some antimicrobials such as aminoglycosides and erythromycin.
• Use with caution in conjunction with desferrioxamine in patients with pre-existing heart disease.

Meat: Zero (0) days.

• Keep out of reach of children.
• High doses should be used with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus or in patients susceptible to urolithiasis.

Open with caution to release pressure if the product has been stored for a long time. Refrigeration can minimize this effect.

Empty containers can be discarded as household waste, without any special precautions. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturer laboratory

Store away from light, at room temperature between 15 and 30°C.
