Regepipel® Plus

Shampoo.

Antiseptic and antifungal shampoo.

Each 100 mL contains:
Chlorhexidine Gluconate 20%…………………… 10 g
(Equivalent to 2 g of Chlorhexidine Gluconate)
Miconazole Nitrate……………………………………. 2.3 g
(Equivalent to 2 g of Miconazole base)
Excipients c.s.p……………………………………… 100 mL

For the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius infections, Malassezia pachydermatis, and as an aid in the treatment of dermatophytic infections due to Microsporum canis in dogs and cats.

• Wet the animal with plenty of water.
• Apply a sufficient amount of the shampoo to several spots and massage. With the help of a sponge, spread to promote its penetration into the skin and coat. Be sure to apply Regepipel® Plus around the lips, under the tail and between the fingers as these are reservoir areas for causative agents.
• Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse with plenty of clean water.
• Repeat two or three times a week until the symptoms subside and then once a week or as directed by the Veterinarian.

Dogs and cats.

• In the treatment of dermatophytosis, the combination of topical therapy with systemic therapy favors the healing of the lesions in 6-9 weeks, less time than required when systemic therapy is administered alone.
• In case of local irritation, discontinue treatment.
• Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes, in case of accidental contact wash immediately with plenty of water.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use on cats under 6 weeks of age and dogs under 4 weeks of age.
• Do not administer to individuals who have known hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
• Do not use in pregnant or lactating females.

Chlorhexidine is inactivated when used with common detergents or anionic compounds.

Avoid contact with eyes, in case of accidental contact wash immediately with plenty of water.

Empty containers can be discarded as household waste, without any special precautions. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.
