Administer 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight, equivalent to 8 mg/kg of levamisole hydrochloride and 5 mg/kg of Praziquantel, in a single dose.

Orally. Administer directly into the oral cavity or mixed with food.

Dogs and cats.

  • Do not administer to dogs under 4 weeks of age.
  • Do not administer to patients with a history of gastric intolerance.
  • Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients.

In some cases, sialorrhea, vomiting or muscle tremors may be observed, which are transient symptoms and disappear spontaneously.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Use with caution in weak animals or animals suffering from hepatic and/or renal impairment.

Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.

  • It is recommended that levamisole be avoided in conjunction with chloramphenicol, as deaths have been reported when administered concomitantly.
  • Cholinesterase inhibitor drugs (e.g., phosphorous organs, neostigmine) may potentiate the toxic effects of levamisole.
  • Nicotinic components (e.g., pyrantel, moranthel, diethylcarbamazine) may potentiate the toxic effects of levamisole.
  • Levamisole taken together with warfarin increases the risk of bleeding.
  • No interactions of Praziquantel with other veterinary medicinal products have been described.
  • Individuals exposed to high doses of levamisole may develop vomiting, diarrhea, neurotoxicity, agranulocytosis, pulmonary edema, dyspnea, immune-mediated rashes, and lethargy. Symptoms of levamisole toxicity are similar to organophosphate poisoning and may include hypersalivation, hyperesthesia, irritability, clonic seizures, Central Nervous System (CNS) depression, dyspnea, defecation, urination, and collapse. These effects are best treated with supportive therapy, as animals usually recover within a few hours of administration.
  • In dogs, administration of 50 mg/kg of levamisole for 3 consecutive days may result in vomiting.
  • Praziquantel has a wide margin of safety. Doses of 150 to 200 mg/kg of Praziquantel produce vomiting, salivation, and depression in dogs.
  • Do not handle by people who are hypersensitive to Levamisole or Praziquantel.
  • Wash hands with plenty of soap and water immediately after handling and administering the product.
  • In case of contact with eyes or mucous membranes, wash immediately with plenty of water.
