Nanormen® Oral Suspension

Oral suspension.

Antiparasitic Nematicide.

Dogs and cats.

Each 1 mL of oral suspension contains:
Pirantel Pamoato………………………………. 144.13 mg
(Equivalent to 50 mg of Pyrantel base)
Excipients c.s.p………………………………………. 1 mL

Nanormen® Oral suspension, it is indicated for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal nematodes in dogs and cats of any age. Nanormen® is effective against Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, and Uncinaria stenocephala.

Dosage of the active ingredient:

• Dogs: 5 mg/kg body weight.
• Cats: 20 mg/kg body weight.

Product Dosage:

• Dogs: Administer 2 drops per kg of body weight or 1 mL per 10 kg of body weight, in a single dose.
• Cats: Administer 8 drops per kg of body weight or 2 mL per 5 kg of body weight, in a single dose

Oral.

• Do not administer to severely debilitated animals
• Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.
• Do not administer to animals that are hypersensitive to Pyrantel Pamoato.

Mild and transient adverse effects, including gastrointestinal signs, such as nausea, vomiting, anorexia, abdominal pain, diarrhea, skin erythema, and increased liver enzymes, may occasionally occur.

• Shake before use.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Nanormen® is recommended for treating and controlling parasite re-infestation in puppies and kittens, for which animals can be treated at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks of age.
• Animals exposed to highly contaminated environments, it is recommended to administer Nanormen® every 2 to 3 months to control re-infestation by Toxocara canis.

Pyrantel may interact with medications containing Piperazine, Levamisole, or other cholinergic drugs similar to Nicotine.

Do not handle by people who are hypersensitive to Pyrantel Pamoato.

Empty containers can be discarded as household waste, without any special precautions. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.

Store between 2 and 30 °C, away from light. Once opened, use within 12 weeks. Discard the unused product after that period of time.
