Indicated in dehydration and glucose and mineral deficiencies, which can be caused by: hemorrhages, diarrhea, burns, postpartum deficiencies and/or poisoning.
In production animals, Kaupol®, administered concomitantly with vitamins B1, B6 and B12, is indicated as a hepatic, lipotropic and hematopoietic protector.
Especially recommended for weakened, convalescent, sick or long-demanding animals.

Cattle, Horses, Pigs, Sheep and Goats.

Cattle, sheep and goats:
Slow or subcutaneous intravenous route.

Horses and Pigs:
Strict slow intravenous route. Single-dose administration.

Product Dosage:

• Cattle (≥ 400 Kg) : 1,000 – 2,000 mL via E.V.
• Cattle (≥ 400 Kg) : : 200 – 300 mL via S.C.
• Cattle (200 – 300 Kg) : 500 mL via E.V.
• Cattle (200 – 300 Kg) : 50 to 80 mL via S.C.
• Sheep and goats (25 – 60 Kg) : 100 – 250 mL via E.V.
• Sheep and goats (25 – 60 Kg) : 40 mL via S.C.
• Pigs (≥ 120 Kg) : 300 – 500 mL via E.V.
  (Indicated for dehydration and bleeding)

Administer aseptically. For intravenous administration, the product must be tempered to body temperature. For subcutaneous administration, do not exceed the following maximum doses per injection site: Adult cattle: 10 to 20 mL; Adult sheep or goats: 5 to 10 mL.

• Do not administer in pathological states that require low sodium intake.
• Do not administer in pathological states such as renal failure, heart failure, and metabolic diseases.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Intravenous administration should be performed with the product at body temperature.
• Avoid administering large volumes subcutaneously to a single injection site.

• In case of contact with skin, eyes or mucous membranes, wash immediately with plenty of water.
• In case of accidental injection, go immediately to a medical center and show the product label.

Subcutaneously, transient inflammation or irritation at the injection site and necrosis may occur; Abscesses may also develop and should be treated symptomatically.
Intravenous irritation, endothelial damage and phlebitis could occur, to minimize this risk the product should be administered in a central vein and slowly, this also minimizes the presentation of signs such as hypotension, arrhythmias, cardiac arrest or edema. Accidental injection of large volumes around the vein usually causes marked local inflammation, if this occurs stop administration, infiltrate the tissue with normal saline, and apply corticosteroids topically.

Empty containers can be discarded as household waste, without any special precautions. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.

Meat and milk: 0 days.

Store between 15 and 30 °C, away from light. Use immediately once opened and discard any excess product.
