External solution.

External antiparasitic with residual effect.

Each 100 mL of concentrated solution contains:
Cypermethrin……………… 20 g
Excipients c.s.p………… 100 mL

Invetroid® is an effective antiparasitic in the control of lice (Bovicola ovis, Bovicola bovis, Linognathus pedalis, Linognathus ovillus, Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Haematopinus suis), scabies mites (Psoroptes ovis, Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. suis) and melophages (Melophagus ovinus) in cattle, sheep and pigs.

External Use.

• Cattle and sheep:
  Baths for scabies and lice: Dilute 1 litre of Invetroid® in 1,000 litres of water (equivalent to a final bath concentration of 0.02%). In replenishment and reinforcement, use a dilution of 1.5 litres of the product in 1,000 litres of water (equivalent to a concentration of 0.03%); This is when the level of the bathing area has dropped by around 10%.
  For replacement and dry reinforcement: Dilute 500 mL of Invetroid® in 1,000 litres of water (equivalent to a final concentration of 0.01%). This dilution can be used in spraying applied at a rate of 3-4 liters per animal.
• Sheep melophages (Melophagus ovinus: “false tick”):
  Immersion bath: Load: 1 liter of Invetroid® in 10,000 liters of water (equivalent to a final bath concentration of 0.002%). Replenishment: 1 litre in 8,000 litres of water (equivalent to a concentration of 0.0025%), when the level has dropped by 20%. It should be ensured that the animals are well wet, by submerging them completely at least twice. Every 10,000 animals must have their toilets renewed. Once the slaughter is finished, all the remaining liquid must be removed.
  Sprinkling: 1 liter of Invetroid® in 5,000 liters of water (equivalent to a final concentration of 0.004%). This system is recommended as a way to lower the melophage load in freshly sheared animals.
• Pigs:
  Scabies and lice: Spray: Dilute 1 mL of Invetroid® in 5 liters of water (equivalent to a final concentration of 0.004%). Apply at a rate of 3-4 litres per animal. Apply using a spray pump, distributing the product evenly over the animal.

Single dose.

• Do not bathe during hours of intense heat, or when the animals are very tired and thirsty.
• Do not use during advanced stages of pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
• Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to cypermethrin.

In animals with hypersensitivity to cypermethrin, dermal irritation may be observed.

Do not use concomitantly with other pharmaceutical products.

• It must be ensured that both immersion baths and spray pumps are completely free of residues from other products that may have been previously applied.
• Use the mixture in a well-ventilated environment, avoiding contact with the animal’s eyes.
• If there is a threat of rain, suspend bathing. In case of rain within 24 hours
  After bathing, repeat the treatment.

• The applicator must wear a mask and gloves as a protective element for handling the product.
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin and mucous membranes, Cypermethrin is irritating and can cause skin sensitization.
• Contact with treated animals should be avoided until they are completely dry.
• Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
• In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In the case of eye contact, wash immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Do not dispose of empty containers and/or product residues on the ground, rivers, lakes or streams. Any unused medicinal products or waste derived from them must be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.

Meat: 14 days in cattle and 7 days in sheep and pigs.
Milk: 7 days.

Store below 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
Use immediately once opened and discard any excess product.
Use immediately once the solution has been prepared and discard the excess product.
