Fiprokill® Spray

Spray solution.

External antiparasitic against fleas and ticks.

Each 100 mL of solution contains:
Fipronil……………………… 0.25 g
Excipients c.s.p……….. 100 mL

Fiprokill® Spray is effective in the control and treatment of flea (Ctenocephalides felis) and tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) infestation in dogs and cats from 2 days of age, providing a rapid knock-down effect against the adult flea.
Tick removal is initiated 24 to 48 hours after application.

Fiprokill® Spray for dogs provides a protection period of up to 3 months against fleas and up to 5 weeks against ticks. In cats, the flea protection period is extended by 4 weeks.

Topical administration by spray. External Use.

Dogs and cats.

• Dosage of the active ingredient:
  7.5 – 15 mg/kg body weight.
• Product Dosage:
  Spray bottle with 50 and 100 mL: Apply between 6 to 12 atomizations of
  FIPROKILL® Spray
  per kg of weight.
  Spray bottle with 250 mL: Apply between 2 to 4 atomizations of FIPROKILL® Spray per kg of weight.
  Apply the product by wetting the roots of the hair, so that the animal is completely wet.

Apply to the animal’s hair from a distance of approximately 10 to 20 cm. The areas on which the product should be applied are the belly and flanks (chest, abdomen, armpits, shoulders and legs). In long-haired animals, remove the hair and apply the product against the hair, up to the root.
Rub the hair so that the product penetrates the skin. Allow to dry naturally. Do not use a hairdryer.
To treat the face, pour a little product into the palm of the gloved hand and then apply by gently rubbing the face, avoiding the eyes.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Administer with caution in debilitated and senile animals.
• Flammable product. Keep away from heat sources.

Store between 15 and 30 °C, away from light. Once opened, use within 12 weeks. Discard the unused product after that period of time.

• Do not apply to rabbits.
• Do not apply in animals with known hypersensitivity to Fipronil.

• If the animal licks itself, there may be a brief period of hypersalivation (mainly in cats).
• Transient skin reactions such as erythema, pruritus, or alopecia may occur at the application site.
• In the case of hypersensitivity or local irritation, it is recommended not to repeat the treatment.

• Apply in ventilated environments.
• Wear gloves when applying the product.
• Do not smoke, eat or drink during handling and application of the product.
• Avoid contact with the treated animal until its coat is completely dry.
• Avoid sleeping with the recently treated animal.
• In case of contact with skin, eyes or mucous membranes, wash immediately with plenty of water.
• In case of accidental ingestion, go immediately to a medical center and show the product label.

• Flammable product. Keep away from heat sources.

Dispose of waste of this product with caution along with household waste. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways, as the product is toxic to birds, bees and fish. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.
