External antiparasitic.

Effective action against fleas in cats.

Each mL of solution contains:
Fipronil ……………………………… 100 mg
Excipients c.s.p. …………….. 1 mL

FIPRODRAG® Cats is indicated for the treatment and control of flea (Ctenocephalides felis) and mite (Cheyletiella spp.) infestation in cats over 12 weeks of age. Its use is also recommended as an adjunct therapy for flea allergy dermatitis (PAD) in cats. In these cases, monthly application is recommended, and also for the animals that cohabit with them.

With a single application, FIPRODRAG® Cats allows you to control the re-infestation for a period of at least 5 weeks against fleas in cats. If the parasite load is high, a monthly application is recommended.
Due to its lipophilic properties, FIPRODRAG® Cats resists bathing after 48 hours after application. It is not recommended to bathe the pet 48 before and after applying the product.

Cats.

Dose of the active substance: 6.7 – 13.4 mg Fipronil/kg body weight.
Product Dosage: In cats weighing up to 9.1 kg: Apply a 0.5 mL pipette.

Topical.

• Do not apply in animals with known hypersensitivity to Fipronil.
• Do not apply to cats under 12 weeks of age.
• Do not apply to rabbits.

• For external use on cats only.
• Avoid contact of the product with the eyes or other mucous membranes of the animal.
• In case of irritation, discontinue use of the product and wash with plenty of water.
• Administer with caution in debilitated and senile animals.
• It is not recommended to bathe the pet 48 hours before or after applying the product.
• Flammable product. Keep away from heat sources.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• If the animal were to lick itself, there may be a brief period of hypersalivation.
• Transient skin reactions such as erythema, pruritus, or alopecia may occur at the application site.
• In the case of hypersensitivity or local irritation, it is recommended not to repeat the treatment.

The product can be applied to pregnant and lactating females.

Do not use concomitantly with other pharmaceutical products.

• Keep away from food and water sources.
• Do not smoke, eat or drink during handling and application of the product.
• Avoid contact with the treated animal until its coat is completely dry.
• Avoid sleeping with the recently treated animal.
• Wash your hands with plenty of water immediately after applying the product.
• In case of contact with skin, eyes or mucous membranes, wash immediately with plenty of water.
• In case of accidental ingestion, go immediately to a medical center and show the product label.

Dispose of waste of this product with caution along with household waste. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways, as the product is toxic to birds, bees and fish. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.

Store between 15 and 30 °C, away from light.

• Remove the marked top tip from the pipette.
• Place the tip of the pipette directly on the skin of the animal, at the level of the shoulders or at the base of the neck, trying to separate the hair.
• Squeeze and completely empty the contents of the pipette into 2 or 3 points.

Over-the-counter.

VETERINARY USE
It is recommended to periodically carry out an environmental control of ectoparasites in the areas where the pet lives and to treat all the animals with which it cohabits.
