Oral powder.

Antidiarrheal.

Cattle, horses, pigs, sheep and goats.

Each 100 g contains:
Sulfaguanidine Monohydrate……………… 15 g
Phthalylsulfatiazole……………………………….. 5 g
Citrus Pectin………………………………… 1 g
Bentonite……………………………………… 2 g
Colloidal Kaolin……………………………… 77 g

Control of diarrhoea caused by sulfonamide-sensitive germs (Salmonella spp., E. coli and Coccidias).

Orally. The indicated dose should be dissolved in 100 to 200 mL of warm water.

Dissolve the recommended dose in 100 to 200 mL of warm water.

STARTING DOSE  

20 grams (For 500 kg body weight: Sulfaguanidine 3 g; Phthalylsulfatiazole 1 g; Pectin 0.2 g; Bentonite 0.4 g; Kaolin 15.4 (g)

  

10 grams (For 50 kg body weight: Sufaguanidine 1.5 g; Phthalylsulthanhiazole 0.5 g; Pectin 0.1 g; Bentonite 0.2 g; Kaolin 7.7 (g)

  

15 grams (For 100 kg body weight: Sufaguanidine 2.25 g; Phthalylsulthanhiazole 0.75 g; Pectin 0.15 g; Bentonite 0.3 g; Kaolin 11.55 g)

  

5 grams (For 30Kg body weight: Sulfaguanidine 0.75 g; Phthalylsulfatiazole 0.25 g; Pectin 0.05 g; Bentonite 0.1 g; Kaolin 3.85 g)
DOSE
MAINTENANCE		  

10 grams (For 500 kg body weight: Sulfaguanidine 1.5 g; Phthalylsulthanhiazole 0.5 g; Pectin 0.1 g; Bentonite 0.2 g; Kaolin 7.7 g) every 8 hours for 4 days.

  

10 grams (For 50 kg body weight: Sufaguanidine 1.5 g; Phthalylsulthanhiazole 0.5 g; Pectin 0.1 g; Bentonite 0.2 g; Kaolin 7.7 g) every 8 hours for 4 days.

  

10 grams (For 100 kg body weight Sulfaguanidine 1.5 g; Phthalylsulthanhiazole 0.5 g; Pectin 0.1 g; Bentonite 0.2 g; Kaolin 7.7 g) every 8 hours for 4 days.

  

2.5 grams ( For 30 Kg live weight: Sulfaguanidine 0.375 g; Phthalylsulfatiazole 0.125 g; Pectin 0.025 g; Bentonite 0.05 g; Kaolin 1,925 g, every 8 hours for 4 days.

Meat: 10 days (cattle, pigs, sheep and goats). Do not administer to horses whose meat is intended for human consumption.
Milk: 4 days (cattle). Do not administer to sheep or goats whose milk is intended for human consumption.

Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.

Adsorbents such as Kaolin and Pectin may inhibit intestinal absorption of other drugs that are administered in conjunction with or during treatment with Diarrevet®.

Empty containers can be discarded as household waste, without any special precautions. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.

Keep out of reach of children.
Use with caution in animals with renal or hepatic impairment.

Store between 15° and 30°C, away from light. Use immediately once prepared and discard any excess product.

Sale by prescription to the Veterinary Doctor.
