Cattle, sheep, horses and pigs.

Each 10 mL of solution contains:
Papaverine Hydrochloride………… 300 mg
(Equivalent to 271 mg of Papaverine)
Atropine Sulfate………………….. 30 mg
(Equivalent to 26 mg of Atropine)
Excipients c.s.p………………….. 10 mL

Antispasmodic, relaxant of smooth muscles in states of gastrointestinal colic and as an adjuvant in diarrhea and vomiting.

Intramuscular or subcutaneous administration.

Dosage of the active ingredients:

  • Atropine:
    Cattle and Horses: 0.03 – 0.06 mg/Kg
    Pigs: 0.1 mg/kg
    Sheep: 0.03 – 0.3 mg/kg
  • Papaverine:
    Cattle and horses: 0.3 – 0.54 mg/kg
    Pigs: 1.1 mg/kg.
    Sheep: 0.3 – 3.3 mg/kg.

Product Dosage:
Cattle and horses: 1 – 2 mL/100 kg of weight, in a single dose.
Pigs: 4 mL/100 kg weight, in a single dose.
Sheep: 1 – 12 mL/100 kg body weight, in a single dose.

  • Do not administer in animals with glaucoma and heart failure.
  • Do not administer in cases of intestinal obstruction.
  • Do not administer in animals with known hypersensitivity to Atropine or Papaverine.
  • Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.

Mydriasis, mucosal dryness and intestinal atony in varying degrees. The most frequently reported adverse effects are rumen bloating in ruminants and tachycardia in horses.

  • Anticholinergic agents should be administered with caution in geriatric animals, animals with kidney and liver disease, or those with esophageal reflux.
  • Administer with caution in horses as it may induce colic.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • The following active ingredients may increase the activity or toxicity of Atropine and its derivatives: Amantadine, other anticholinergic agents, anticholinergic muscle relaxants, antihistamines (e.g. Diphenhydramine), Disopyramide, Meperidine, Phenothiazines, Procainamide, Primidone, tricyclic antidepressants (e.g. Amitriptyline, Clomipramine).
  • The use of atropine with alpha-2 agonists (e.g., dexmedetomidine, medetomidine) may significantly increase blood pressure, heart rate, and the incidence of arrhythmias.
  • Atropine may aggravate some symptoms given by Amitraz poisoning; leading to hypertension and increased inhibition of peristalsis.
  • Long-term use of atropine in conjunction with corticosteroids may increase intraocular pressure.
  • Atropine and its derivatives may antagonize the actions of Metoclopramide.

Meat and milk: 0 days.

Store between 15 and 30 °C, away from light. Once opened, use within 28 days. Discard the unused product after that period of time.

Dispose of waste of this product with caution along with household waste. Do not dispose of containers with product residues on the ground or in waterways. For expired or unused products, contact the manufacturing laboratory.
