Arthriofin® Tablets

Oral tablet.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory.

Dogs.

Each tablet contains:
Carprofen…………………………. 88 mg.
Excipients c.s.p…………………… 1 comp.

Indicated in the relief of pain and inflammation associated with acute or chronic osteoarticular conditions, such as canine osteoarthritis. Its use is also recommended in the control of postoperative pain associated with orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.

Oral administration.

• Dose of the active substance: 4.4 mg/kg once daily or 2.2 mg/kg twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
• Product dosage: 1 tablet per 20 kg of body weight once a day, or divided into two doses of 1/2 tablet every 12 hours, for 7 to 10 days.

The Veterinarian must evaluate the patient to continue with the treatment. In post-operative pain control, it is recommended to administer it 2 hours before the procedure.

Long-term use of Artriofin® may cause gastrointestinal lesions, loss of appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea. If these symptoms appear, you should immediately consult the treating veterinarian.

• Do not use in conjunction with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroids.
• Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.
• Do not administer to dogs under 6 weeks of age.
• Do not administer in dehydrated, hypovolemic or hypotensive dogs, with cardiac, hepatic or renal disorders.
• Do not administer in dogs with gastroduodenal ulcers, blood dyscrasias or hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
• Do not use with other derivatives of Propionic Acid.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Use with caution in older animals.

Store at a temperature between 2 and 30 °C, away from light.
