Drag Pharma Celebrates 70 Years of History and Leadership in Veterinary Medicine of the UACh
On September 7, 1954, together with the founding of the Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh), the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences was born, which, for 70 years, has stood out for its academic excellence and its commitment to the training of top-level professionals, not only in Chile, but also throughout Latin America.
To commemorate these seven decades of history, innovation and leadership in Veterinary Medicine, a solemn ceremony was held on November 29 in the Aula Magna of the Isla Teja Campus, which brought together prominent members of the community of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, former rectors, former academics, former officials, and representatives of the public and private sectors.
The ceremony was presided over by the Rector Dr. José Dörner Fernández and the Dean Dr. Rafael Burgos Aguilera, who were accompanied by important authorities such as former rectors Dr. Carlos Amtmann and Dr. Víctor Cubillos, Senator Iván Flores, Deputy Patricio Rosas, and the SEREMI of Economy Alejandra Vásquez, among other representatives of the political and regional sphere.
