Arthriofin® Tablets

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug

Indicated in the relief of pain and inflammation associated with acute or chronic osteoarticular conditions, such as canine osteoarthritis. Its use is also recommended in the control of postoperative pain associated with orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.

Dogs.

Each tablet contains:
Carprofen………………………….88 mg.
Excipients q.s.c……………………1 tablet

Indicated in the relief of pain and inflammation associated with acute or chronic osteoarticular conditions, such as canine osteoarthritis. Its use is also recommended in the control of postoperative pain associated with orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.

Oral administration.

  • Dose of the active substance: 4.4 mg/kg once daily or 2.2 mg/kg twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
  • Product dosage: 1 tablet per 20 kg of body weight once a day, or divided into two doses of 1/2 tablet every 12 hours, for 7 to 10 days.

The Veterinarian must evaluate the patient to continue with the treatment. In post-operative pain control, it is recommended to administer it 2 hours before the procedure.

Prolonged use of Carprofen may cause gastroduodenal lesions, loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea. If these symptoms appear, you should immediately consult the treating veterinarian.

  • Do not use in conjunction with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroids.
  • Do not administer to pregnant or lactating females.
  • Do not administer to dogs under 6 weeks of age.
  • Do not administer in dehydrated, hypovolemic or hypotensive dogs, with cardiac, hepatic or renal disorders.
  • Do not administer in dogs with gastroduodenal ulcers, blood dyscrasias or hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
  • Do not use with other derivatives of Propionic Acid.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Use with caution in elderly animals.

Store at room temperature below 25°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. For export: Store in a cool and dry place, at room temperature between 15 and 30 °C, protected from light.
