Talk on the Veterinary Pharmaceutical Industry at the Santo Tomás de Ovalle Institute
On December 3rd, we had the honor of being invited to the facilities of the Santo Tomás Institute in Ovalle, where we shared an educational day with students and recent graduates of the Veterinary and Livestock Production Technician career. During the activity, we had the opportunity to talk about the Veterinary Pharmaceutical Industry, its crucial role in animal and human health, animal welfare, and its direct impact on food safety.
Throughout the talk, we addressed fundamental topics such as the importance of the pharmaceutical industry in the context of global health, emphasizing how it is integrated into the One Health program, which promotes collaboration between different disciplines to ensure the health of humans, animals and the environment.
In addition, we discuss how our industry has evolved towards comprehensive pet nutrition, highlighting the most recent advancements in the sector. In this context, we present the innovative product FIT FORMULA, a line that has responded to an emerging need in the Premium Pet Food segment, promoting a healthier and more balanced diet for animals.
We thank the Instituto Santo Tomás for the invitation and all the students and professionals present for their interest and active participation in the talk. These types of activities are an excellent opportunity to bring future professionals closer to the reality of the veterinary industry and to strengthen knowledge about the impact that animal health has on our daily lives.
