Neurofisin\u00ae<\/strong> is a hormonal preparation biologically titrated in U.I (International Units) containing Oxytocin, a hormone of the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland obtained by chemical synthesis. The synthetic product is endowed with a perfect pharmacological action, surpassing the natural hormone, but it is deprived of other activities such as vasopressor, which is found in organ extracts, in which vasopressin is present in variable amounts.
