A delayed effect on wound healing has not been described, however, such a possibility should be considered when used in surgery.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt;\">Prolonged treatment shows an increase in the incidence of osteoporosis, especially in older dogs. It is not recommended for use during the recovery phase of a bone fracture.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt;\">The most common side effects are polyuria, polydipsia and polyphagia; and are preferably associated with anti-inflammatory doses.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;\">For immunosuppressive doses and extensive treatments, adverse reactions are more likely and potentially more pronounced. These effects, observed on rare occasions, manifest as symptoms of hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing's syndrome): dull and dry coat, weight gain, panting, vomiting, diarrhea, hepatomegaly with the consequent alteration of the concentration of liver enzymes in the serum, pancreatitis, gastrointestinal ulceration (particularly when used with NSAIDs), lipidemias, alteration of insulin requirements,  activation or intensification of diabetes mellitus,  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">muscle wasting and changes in behavior (depression, lethargy, vices).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>","tabla":null},{"titulo":"Interaction with other pharmaceuticals","tipo_de_contenido":"contenido","contenido":"It is recommended to avoid concomitant administration of Prednisolone with:\n<ul>\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Amphotericin B or caliuretic diuretics (furosemide, thiazides), as hypokalemia may occur.
